Shipping your order:

Helmetexpress.com offers great discounts and fast delivery. To help insure on time delivery at reasonable prices, we may use a variety of shippers including UPS, DHL. Fed Ex Ground and The US Postal service depending on the customers shipping location. UPS will not deliver to APO, FPO or PO Box #. All deliveries must be within the Continental US. If you place an order online to ship to an APO address, we will automatically add freight up to $10 to cover the cost. If the cost is higher than $10, we will contact you before shipment to confirm the total amount.

Helmetexpress.com will in most cases process your order the same day it is placed. Orders will most likely be shipped the next business day if placed after 1pm EST. on weekdays, or any time on weekends or holidays. Delivery times vary depending on the availability and the location from which the merchandise is shipped and are not guaranteed.

If you need an item by a specific date, please make sure to order well ahead of time and you may call our customer service department the next business day after you place your order so we know that you have a deadline. Most Helmetexpress.com orders are processed and delivered within an average of 2 to 3 business days. (Sorry, but since we don't personally deliver the package, we do not guarantee delivery times. They are based on averages given to us by the various delivery services.)

Delivery times can be affected greatly by manufacturers availability, the warehouse your order is shipped from, and the delivery location. The 2 business day average is not a guarantee and we do not give reimbursement for shipping charges on orders that are not delivered within the average time frame. They are based on averages given to us by the various delivery services.

Orders are processed only after credit card information has been verified and approved. Please make sure to provide a good e-mail address and phone numbers where you may be reached throughout the day in case we need to contact you. The verification process can cause a delay and we will not be held responsible for any delays.

Some smaller orders and items will be consolidated and shipped from South Carolina to save freight cost. This may cause items which show in stock to take a couple days longer, but saves you the increased freight cost. To keep costs low we use a discounted shipping program from South Carolina and pass he savings on to you. Please, if you order is time sensitive, call us to place the order. One of our excellent customer service agents will go through options on delivery methods and times so we can meet your needs. Please keep in mind expediting your order may cost extra depending on the service required to meet your needs.

On-Line In stock Information On line tire stock status information is based on inventory feeds each evening from the various shipping warehouses we use to process our orders. If an item shows in stock, this means it is available in one of our shipping warehouses but not necessarily one that is within 2 days average delivery of your address. Items that show available 7-10 days are items that are temporarily Out of Stock at a shipping warehouse but which we believe will be in stock shortly. If there are any longer delays on your order we will contact you via email or phone to notify you. After you place your order you may call US AT 1-800-543-8192 to verify availability and delivery times.

Warranty Procedure:

Helmetexpress.com cannot be held responsible for any manufacturer's defects or warranties. However, we are happy to assist you if you have a problem involving a manufacturer's warranty claim.

Manufacturing defects are very rare, but can happen. So, if you experience any product failure that you believe is due to a manufacturing defect in your Helmet or any other products purchased from us, please call us. Manufacturers warranty procedures vary. In some cases you may be directed to contact the manufacturer directly. In others you will be instructed to ship back the items pre-paid (customer pays shipping) with the return authorization and a copy of the invoice and the proper information detailing the specific problem(s) with the item. We will then process the claim with the manufacturer.

Damaged Packages:

Contact the South Carolina Distribution Center customer service immediately at 800-543-8192 or at contact us. Save the items in the original packaging, just as you received them. Customer Service can then help you to get a replacement as soon as possible.

Shipping Errors:

Contact customer service at contact us or call 800-543-8192 immediately. In the event of a shipping mistake it must be reported to customer service within 2 Business days of delivery or we can't be held responsible for the mistake. All merchandise must be authorized with customer service and in new, unopened and undamaged condition when returned. Or it will not be accepted for a refund or credit.

Internet Pricing Policies:

Helmetexpress.com is committed to giving our customers the best available price, plus our fast and very reliable delivery that averages 2-3 business days. We check and change prices daily to make sure we continue to offer competitive prices. Our Prices are offered only to retail customers within the Continental USA (48 states) and APO/FPO addresses

This pricing is offered on a promotional basis only and is offered to individual motorcycle owners for their personal use. In many cases the pricing may be at or below the cost generally offered to wholesale accounts by distributors within the power sports industry. We do not offer these prices to other dealers, repair shops or wholesalers. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse large orders that we believe are directed to dealerships, independent repair shops and wholesalers.

Prices listed on line are for Internet orders only. Prices on telephone orders may be higher. You are strongly encouraged to place your order on-line as this reduces our cost, which we pass on to you in retail savings.

Ad Pricing Policy:

Our magazine ad prices are the lowest available at the time they are submitted to the magazine. However, due to the large lag time before the magazine actually reaches the customer, some prices may need to be changed. Price changes are caused by a rise in the manufacturers price to us, or other variables which maybe beyond our control. In most cases, we will still offer our customers the lowest price on these items and deliver them to your door within an average of 2 business days.

Errors and Omissions

Occasionally a price or description may be posted in error. In this case we may decline to sell at the price in error, however, we will do everything within our power to supply those item(s) or substitute items to you at the lowest price possible and will contact you with alternatives that may be available.

Returns

If you need to return any helmet for size exchange just call 1-800-543-8192 and we will give you a returns authorization number or you can print this form. Please fill out all information asked for completely.

When you ship the Helmet back make sure it is in the helmet bag and the display box and packed in an additional outside shipping carton with adequate packaging. It is best to use the shipping carton we shipped you the helmet in if possible. The shield cover must be intact as well as all tags and manufacturers warranty material. The helmet must be in new and unused condition. Receipt of a returned package in our warehouse is conditional and does not constitute an accepted return until the item is inspected by the returns department.

Exchanges: You may exchange all merchandise (excluding all Special orders, Opened Electrical or Mounted products ) that is unused, never installed, and without damage to the manufacturer’s original packaging, for merchandise of equal or greater value within 30 days of the date you received it. Any unused or leftover credit will be applied to your customer account with us and will be valid for use within one year. Any balance due or shipping fees from merchandise exchanges will be charged to the original order’s credit card unless you include another payment method.
4 Choices for Exchanges:
1. The standard exchange reshipment fee for all orders is only $6, which covers returns processing/inspection, standard ground delivery and order processing from our South Carolina warehouse.
2. Factory Direct shipment: the exchange fee is $12 to have your exchange shipped directly from the manufacturer to speed up the turn around.
3. Place a NEW order for exchange and then refund the original order when returned = $12
4. Place a NEW DROP SHIP for exchange and then refund the original order when returned = $18
Please keep in mind, due to oversize charges on large items: Givi, Tires, large windshields, heavy and oversized items will have $10 to $30 each, deducted before the available credit is applied to the new exchange order.
If you place a new order for an exchange and your original order is returned and is not in acceptable condition, it will be refused and sent back to you. So, PLEASE make sure you have properly packaged and cared for your returned merchandise.

If you have a warranty issue with a helmet, call us at 1-800-543-8192 and we will give you instructions on how to address your issue. We do not warranty the helmets ourselves but we help you with all manufacturers warranty claims. Each manufacturer has a preference on how to handle warrantees on their product so let us help you through this process. In most cases the manufacturers will want the helmet returned to us but some handle warranties directly.

Returns for refunds (not for size or model exchanges) are processed after assessing a 10% restock fee minimum $10.00 per order. Please give us a chance to try to get you into the proper helmet rather than just doing a return for refund. You may also return for no penalty for a credit to your customer account to be used on a future order. Closeouts items can only be returned for in store credit or exchange.

Returns for a refund that result in the total for the order dropping below $100 in merchandise, will have the standard shipping charge of $9.50, plus any restocking fee deducted from the available refund, unless the order is exchanged or left as an in store credit.

Do not send any return shipments freight COD or Freight collect, as they will not be accepted by the distribution center.

Restocking Fees:

All exchanges are subject to standard shipping charges listed above. A restocking fee of 10% will be assessed for any returned item if it is not exchanged for an item of equal or greater value.

Cancellations

Once an order is submitted into our system it is transmitted to the fulfillment warehouse very quickly. Once an order has been sent to the warehouse for shipment it may not be cancelled. All cancellations must be called in immediately to 1-800-543-8192 and you must speak to a representative in person. E-mail cancellations are not permissible as often emails are either delayed in delivery or caught is various spam filters. Also, you may not leave an automated message to cancel an order, as these messages may not be retrieved prior to your order shipping. When you talk to a representative to cancel an order, you will be given a cancellation code that you must retain for your records.

Pre-Paid "Free" Size Exchange Program:
On NEW ( non-closeout/special buy ) Arai helmets we offer "one" free "size exchange" at no cost to you. We will either send you a prepaid label for return shipping or you can elect a $10 credit on your Comp-A® account to cover your return freight cost, plus we will exchange your returned item for another size of the same item Free (no cost). It is that simple. If you need another size exchange, the normal exchange policies will apply. In the event you decide to return the item after using the free exchange program we will deduct $25 to cover the shipping costs and the balance will be on your Comp-A® Account as a credit for future use. If you choose a refund instead of a in Compacc Account credit, the standard refund policies will also apply.

Refused Deliveries:

Please keep in mind if you refuse delivery on a package there is a shipping cost both to you and back to us. In this case you will not receive credit for shipping and we will subtract a minimum of 10% restocking fee from the merchandise amount in addition to outbound and returned shipping. Customers refusing an order delivery may be placed on our do not sell list and prohibited from placing additional future orders.
